We’ve selected and blended the finest teas from across the globe. From classic Earl Grey and high grade Darjeeling, to subtle White tea and potent Chinese cave aged Pu-ehr, to a large variety of delicious herbal infusions. With 30 teas to choose from, there is a perfect cup for every one – tea beginners and lovers alike.

We chose loose leaf teas because we are a little old fashioned; we love the charm of brewing loose teas, and the undeniable fresh taste that follows. We chose organic because we care about our environment, and we care about the quality of our teas. Organic teas are cultivated without the use of harmful chemicals, herbiscides or pestisides. This means that at Venus Sophia you get to drink the highest quality natural tea. It’s good for the environment, for the farmers and for you.

We are well known for our classic tea service, presenting tea in real English antique teacups and teapots. If you are looking for tea on the go, we serve your tea in 16oz take-out cups using biodegradable t-sacs; and you can choose any tea you like from our menu.

All of our teas are priced the same for tea service, which means you can try expensive teas (like Darjeeling, Assam, and Pu-ehr) at a low price. Our prices are $4.50 (+tax) for a pot of tea, $7.95 for a pot of tea for two, and $11.50 for a pot of tea for three. Kids herbal tea is also available, served in the sweetest tiny teapots and cups at $2.90. Our service is one you won’t get anywhere else in town. If you opt for a mug or to-go cup , the price is $2.75 (+tax). We refill your hot water as you please, although we don’t recommend it for black and green teas. One hot water refill is more than enough, otherwise the tea looses it’s taste.  Herbal infusions can be brewed several times, as well as oolongs and pu-ehrs.

We are proud to have our entire tea line available for purchase to enjoy at home. All of our teas are sold by the gram at different price points, depending on their origin, grade and rarity. We package our teas in beautiful red specialty bags and tins. The bags are vapour proof, keeping tea very fresh. Tins are now only offered for 100g teas. Did you know that if you bring back your tea tin for a tea refill, you get $1 off? It’s a great way to re-use your tins and help the environment a little more.

Finally, we have a little cute retail shop inside with a variety of original infusers, t-bags for loose teas, teapots, accessories, gifts and more.
