In Venus Sophia Tea Room, we work and create with intention.

We thought you would want to know that we now have more of our “systems” in place which we call our Green Policies.

We compost all our vegetable matter, teas and coffees.  We have take out cups and soup bowls that can be composted as well as paper towels.  We sort all our paper into one bin and everything else we can recycle in another.  Our tea bags are compostable and unbleached.

Our freshly baked breads are organic.  Our salads are organic. Our new Venus Sophia line of teas are organic, as is our two kinds of coffee–Oso Negro and Level Ground.  We offer some organic cold drink options from Santa Cruz Organic Orange Mango to Natura’s Organic Strawberry Soy Milk.  And when we bake at Venus Sophia we use organic unbleached white flour.  As well, some of our other baked goods are organic…and we offer a lovely selection of raw food options.
