As we come to the end of this year, 2009, we have so much to be grateful for.  And to you our valued friends, family and customers.  We wish you all a year filled with adventure, bliss and blessings.  And we thank you for all your support and enthusiasm.

It is a dream come true to have opened Venus Sophia Tea Room…..it has opened the next phase of our life and it is with great joy that we will share it with all of you.

I love thresholds, so here’s to crossing the threshold into the new year of 2010 where life awaits to be created and discovered.  And I hope you will cross our theshold and come into Venus Sophia Tea Room and have a lovely cup of tea or coffee and take a moment of repose in our peaceful and beautiful environment.  Also come in and visit The Water Lily Boutique which is here for you to discover treasures in your day and to support the tea room.

In the new year we will be open some evenings for music, book clubs, the Art of Living series and just so there’s a place to be with others.  We will also have student study evenings.  The Rose Petal Art Gallery is open to receiving submissions from local artisans as we begin planning for our next showing.

We look forward to seeing you walk through our doors and over the threshold into Victoria’s unique and eloquent tea room.

We will be closed New Year’s Eve Day and New Year’s Day.

P.S.  Some folks have been asking if they could donate their beautiful teapots and tea cups to the tea room, and the answer is, yes, of course.  How lovely.  In the spirit of supporting the tearoom, others have asked if they can donate to the one the one-of-a- kind treasures and clothing in our boutique, the answer there, as well, is yes, that is very generous.

And, while we are on the subject of the Boutique, we are hoping to bring in some Spring April Cornell fashions as well as new Blue Sky Clothing from Bali.  We are planning on starting our own Venus Sophia line of creams, lip balms, etc. as well as our own line of tea, which is quite exciting for us!  The tea room will always be changing and growing as it continues to be created anew and tended to each and every day.  Oh yes, and now we have our own Venus Sophia unique coffee blend from Oso Negro.

Our tea room is like a garden, you never know what is going to burst out into blossom next…..or what new seed is being planted….Welcome to our peaceful flowering garden of imagination…..welcome to Venus Sophia Tea Room…..where the love of beauty and the wisdom of love and the beauty of wisdom reveals itself in unique and relevant ways.
