Afternoon tea at Venus Sophia is the perfect thank you to all Mothers. We will be hosting our popular afternoon tea in honour of Mother’s Day. The specially dedicated afternoon tea starts with delectable finger sandwiches, followed by warm scones, and then the most irrisistable course: the desserts. The delicious spread is complimented by an extensive selection of premium organic teas for you to choose from.
$30 per person including a special gift to end the tea (taxes and 15% gratuity not included).

The wonderful tradition of afternoon tea may be enjoyed with a special touch at Venus Sophia. Experience our caring, attentive service, while appreciating one of the most celebrated rituals of tea culture, in a relaxed and elegant setting.

Our refreshing afternoon tea includes the traditional delectable finger sandwhcihes, featuring our creative house-made Vegetarian fillings. Savour the taste of sun-dried tomatoes with fresh basil, organic Mediterranean style hummus, artichoke hearts, and English cucumber with cheese and mint. A seasonal selection of light pastries, homemade chocolate infused with Peach Rooibos Tea, and shortbread are sure to please your sweet tooth, along with a freshly baked scone served with cream and strawberry jam. To compliment your meal, a fresh fruit plate is served with a new twist, by introducing a beautifully presented tropical variety. Delicious food can only be complete with a delicious tea, and at Venus Sophia there is an extensive organic loose leaf tea list to choose from. May we suggest our premium Darjeeling, Monk’s Blend, Jasmine Flower, Cream Earl Grey, herbal Roman Provence, or Blueberry Ceylon. Tea is served in dainty antique tea cups and teapots; a charming and memorable way to spend your tea time.

Afternoon Tea is available daily from Tuesday to Sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Please make your booking for no later than 4.00 p.m., so that you may take your time to enjoy the service. Please call (250) 590-3953 to make a reservation. Walk-ins welcome.
